Inspiration

Kas’s journey into dog training was inspired by his rescue dog, Sky, a reactive miniature dachshund. While initially focusing on canine nutrition, Kas quickly realised how closely nutrition is linked to behaviour and training. His experience with Sky motivated him to pursue further education in dog training, helping not only his own dog but also supporting other owners with reactive dogs.

Professional Experience

Kas is a certified Canine Specialist (DTC CDT) with qualifications in canine nutrition and behaviour. He has completed accredited courses with DTC alongside specialist programmes focused on reactivity, aggression, and separation anxiety. His unique combination of expertise in both nutrition and behaviour allows him to take a holistic approach to training, addressing the root causes of unwanted behaviours.

Training Focus

Kas specialises in working with reactive and aggressive dogs, as well as those struggling with separation anxiety. His passion lies in understanding how physical health, especially nutrition, affects canine behaviour. He believes that addressing a dog’s diet alongside behaviour modification creates the best outcome for long-term success.

Philosophy

Kas takes a holistic, force-free approach to training. He believes that training should always be done at the dog’s own pace, setting them up for success rather than failure. By combining behaviour modification with nutritional adjustments, Kas aims to improve a dog’s overall well-being — both mentally and physically. His philosophy centres on patience, compassion, and building trust between dogs and their owners.
