Oscar’s inspiration for becoming a dog trainer came from his family legacy. His grandad and dad were lifelong security and protection dog trainers, and their dedication to the craft deeply influenced him. Growing up surrounded by dogs and witnessing their training sparked his passion for the field, leading him to follow in their footsteps.
Professional Experience
Oscar has been a dog trainer for about 20 years, working with a wide range of dogs, from family pets to security and protection dogs, therapy dogs, and assistant dogs. His extensive experience covers all stages of training, including puppies, basic and advanced obedience, security and protection training, as well as preparing therapy and assistant dogs. He takes pride in teaching dog owners how to help their dogs thrive throughout their lives, ensuring both dogs and owners enjoy a harmonious relationship.
Training Focus
Oscar enjoys all types of training, from solving behavioural issues to shaping dogs into their best selves. His favourite part of training is working closely with dog owners, helping them develop strong, positive relationships with their dogs and addressing any challenges they face together.
5 Year Plan
In five years, Oscar envisions running his own kennels where he can save and care for as many dogs as possible. His dream is to create a safe and supportive environment for dogs while continuing to work with them, ensuring their well-being and helping them live their best lives.
